Renew Your Membership

How to renew

All Individual and Organisation members renew at the same time each year.

We start our renewal period in August each year for continuing members to renew for the coming October 31 to October 31 membership year.  Here’s how to renew during this time and outside of this time:

During the annual renewal period (August to October)

Step 1: In August, we send all current Members an email with their unique renewal application link. This leads to the pre-filled renewal form.

Step 2: Update and fill in the details on the RAV Form. You can save the forms to complete later if needed.

Step 3: Once complete, submit the form and follow the payment instructions by the due date stated in our email. You will also need to complete the GSA Insurance Form for an insurance application. All Organisations must complete this form regardless of if they selected Combined Liability Insurance or not.

Step 4: We will email a confirmation that you have completed your application.

Step 5: If you submitted and paid on time, we will email your confirmation of membership. Insurance documentation, if applicable, will be sent from our broker on 31 October.  You will have no gap in your insurance cover.

Step 5a: If you submitted and paid late, we will email your confirmation of membership. Insurance documentation, if applicable, will be sent from our broker once the insurance has been paid and approved. You may have a gap in your insurance cover.

Once renewed, your membership is current until 31 October.

If you’re a member of a Regional Arts Victoria Organisation Member, you are eligible for discounted Individual Membership. Please ask the Organisation you are associated with for further information.

Insurance lapses after 31 days if the renewal is not received and paid. To reactivate Membership and Insurance after 31 days, please follow the instructions below.

Please read our Membership Information FAQ carefully before you renew.

Outside of the annual renewal period (November – July)

If you are not in a position to renew Membership or Insurance before October, you can renew at a later time. However, please be aware that this will not reduce the cost of your membership fee or insurance (by a pro-rata amount) in the coming 2023-2024 membership year.
