Expressions of Interest Open for 2025 Schools Touring

Are you an artist or company making high quality educational and engaging work for young people and interested in touring your work to schools across regional Victoria in 2025? Please read on!

Expressions of interest for the 2025 Creative Learning schools touring program are now open!

We are seeking a limited number of works (3-5) to be part of the 2025 schools touring program. These can be live performance and/or workshops programs suitable for primary or both primary and secondary ages. Performing arts (theatre, music, dance, circus) visual arts or visual communication and design programs are preferred.

Equity and diversity across our touring programs are a priority for Regional Arts Victoria. Appropriate expressions of interest from First Nations, CALD, deaf and disabled, and/or regionally based artists/companies will be prioritised.

What does it mean to be part of the program?

Our Creative Learning program delivers accessible arts experiences to young people across Victoria, from primary years through to VCE, and encourages students to participate as both artists and audiences. The program is designed with links across the Victorian Curriculum. This program firmly focuses on the arts – drama, music, dance, visual arts, visual communication and design.

The artists and companies selected for our touring programs will be supported by our tour coordination service. On your behalf, we build tour itineraries, manage marketing, bookings, invoicing, and logistics. We pay you your artist fees and cover your travel expenses.

Successful applicants will be expected to have their work ‘tour ready’ and take care of all the exciting creative stuff! As you will be touring to schools, you will be expected to have an interest and understanding of how your work relates to the Victorian Curriculum.
