Small Regional Presenters is a funding program that supports regional communities to program and present shows in their area. It also supports skills development and capacity building by encouraging presenters to develop long term plans and audience development strategies. 

The Creative Inspiration Grant program was a quick response fund that offered small grants to artists and arts groups to support their practice or to kick start an idea.

Creative Workers in Schools (CWS) provided the opportunity for 150 creative industry workers to undertake a six-month residency in Victorian government schools, including special schools throughout 2021.

The Victorian Government’s Sustaining Creative Workers initiative supported the continued work of Victoria’s independent creative practitioners and workers who have been impacted by coronavirus (COVID-19) in 2021.

The Creative Recovery Small Grants Program: 2021 Storms supported creatives and creative communities in regions significantly impacted by the storms and floods in June 2021. This program is delivered by Regional Arts Victoria and supported by the Helen Macpherson Smith Trust.

Project Grants will fund high-quality arts projects benefitting regional or remote artists, arts workers, audiences and communities. Applicants MUST be regionally based in order to apply to the Regional Arts Fund.

The Victorian Women’s Public Art program (VWPA) supported the development of permanent public art to examine the significant and diverse contributions women have made to Victoria and to share those stories with the broader community.

The Regional Collections Access Program (RCAP) was a new program to enable equipment and infrastructure upgrades at galleries and museums. The Program supported collections care and storage and facilitate the loaning and touring of collections items from Local, State, National and International lending institutions in regional and Interface Local Government Areas (LGAs). The Program aimed to enable more visitors to access more collections in more locations across Victoria.

The Cultural Tourism Accelerator Program was a $5 million targeted measure announced by the Australian Government as part of the Regional Arts Tourism package, which enabled arts organisations to promote and develop cultural events for tourists across regional Australia.

In 2020, Regional Arts Victoria worked in partnership with Regional Development Victoria, Bushfire Recovery Victoria and Creative Victoria on the Creative Recovery Small Grants Program.
