About Connecting Places
Connecting Places is a performing arts touring program tailored to small halls and other community-run spaces. This program offers a range of engaging productions that can be booked by volunteer groups that present live performances in their communities, also known as community presenters.
Regional Arts Victoria recognises the important role that community presenters play in the wellbeing and vitality of regional communities. Connecting Places aims to support these groups to independently program high quality and affordable shows that appeal to their communities.
In addition to the annual program of touring productions, Connecting Places provides exciting learning opportunities including workshops, one-on-one support and other resources for community presenters.
Our Connecting Places team are available for one-on-one consultations in person, over the phone and via email. You can contact us for general advice or more specific support in relation to presenting shows at your venue, no strings attached.
