Torquay Theatre Troupe Inc

The Torquay Theatre Troupe has been in existence for 12 years.  The troupe started as an activities group running theatre activity evenings and performances for friends and families for the first three years.  In 2002 it put on its first public performance by taking a play to the Anglesea One Act Play Festival, and in November of that year showed two one act plays to audiences in Anglesea and Torquay.  Since then the troupe has presented two full programs of plays each year for Torquay audiences and have extended each season to seven performances.

Torquay Theatre Troupe performed two productions in 2012.  In May we performed ‘Rabbit Hole’ by David Lindsay-Abaire and ‘Man the Balloon’ by Matt Cameron in November.  We also performed at the Anglesea One Act Play Festival ‘Small Secrets’ by Sandy Fairthorne which we also performed for two nights at our local restaurant as a theatre and dinner night which was sold out on both nights.
