Thou Art Mum

Our Story

Thou Art Mum is a Diamond Valley based network of over 40 female visual artists who collaborate to create dynamic group exhibitions for the enjoyment of friends, family and the local community.

A Brief History

Established in March 2005, as part of a Landmark Education project completed by Katiuska Cruz, her aim was to create a network that allowed mothers who had the need to create to exhibit annually. She identified that as a group, the opportunities for the women opened up enormously.

Today

Celebrating 10 Years in March 2015, Thou Art Mum has over 40 members and exhibits twice a year within the Diamond Valley and wider Melbourne community. The artists who are members of Thou Art Mum practice a diversity of disciplines including painting, drawing, sculpture, textiles, print making, glasswork, ceramics and photography. The theme of each exhibition unifies this diversity of expression.

Thou Art Mum is ever changing as the lives of our members change, and mothers in the community are inspired to join our group of creative women.
