In 2012, courtesy of a generous grant from the Regional Arts Fund, Resonance String Orchestra presented its most exciting and successful project to date. “Tango in the Ranges” saw Resonance collaborate with the gypsy-inspired, tango quintet “Cosmo Cosmolino”. Our students had the opportunity to study with the Cosmo Cosmolino artists over many months, and the project culminated with the two groups sharing the stage of the Kyneton Town Hall, presenting a sublime concert of works by Piazzolla, Gade, Mountfort, Albeniz and Rodriguez.
