The first Mansfield Readers and Writers festival will be held on 4 & 5 March 2023, bringing authors and literary luminaries to Mansfield in North East Victoria, Taungurung Country. Developed by a team of dedicated booklovers, the festival will celebrate storytelling in all its forms and will be the premier literary event in Mansfield and surrounding areas, amplifying our existing attractions with an event that introduces visiting writers to new readers and inspires creativity in all who attend.

This year’s festival also includes the first Mansfield Readers and Writers Short Story Competition, with the theme ‘Heart’. From over 100 entries from around Australia a local and national winner will be announced at the festival’s Gala Dinner on Saturday 4 March at Delatite Winery.
