Heyfield War Memorial Hall

Our hall is 60 year old.  Since 2012 $82,000 of grants have helped upgrade the hall to what it is today.   Replacement of all stage curtains, the Blue room fitted out for performers, Audio/Visual system installed and the largest project has been the installation of Acoustic bats for the main hall to stop echo and vibration when artists are performing on the stage or in the main hall itself.  The hall committee run an Australia Day dance each year and average 160 dancers from all over Victoria coming to enjoy live music and old time dancing all afternoon followed by a good home cooked country supper.  Community groups use the hall for exercise and Taekwando weekly.  It is the gathering place for public meeting when major events are occuring.  As the largest venue in our town the hall is used for Funerals, Weddings, parties, school concerts and visiting artist performing for schools  and public exhibitions.  The supper room is adjoinging the main hall with adjoining kitchen which is now registered as a commercial kitchen for hire.   Great venue for bands and singers alike to perform in.  We can seat 300 people and with tables and chairs can seat 200 at tables. We are now on Facebook so check out what has been happeing in our great hall.
