Amanda Neville

An innovative eclectic community centric social fabric connector who engages visual art techniques to address social problems. With 30 years’ experience in the arts industry, working in many roles and 15 years project development, co-ordination and delivery, and community development. Tertiary qualified combined with over 15 years’ practical experience working within the Western Suburbs and beyond initiating creative projects both two and 3-dimensional. 

Driven by restoring people’s self-image and pride across all ages within socially diverse and vulnerable communities, works from a strength-based approach for projects to create sustainability for individuals, groups and the wider community.

Achieves this through building lasting relationships with the people of the community other artists/designers, fabricators local Councils, community organizations and businesses and a blend of artistic and technical skills. Demonstrated achievements include many public artworks, successful creative projects and workshops in community and educational settings.
