Funding Opportunities Open

We are excited to be partnered on three recently announced and different funding opportunities for Regional Victorian arts organisations.

Victorian Women’s Public Art Program

The Victorian Women’s Public Art program (VWPA) supports the development of permanent public art to examine the significant and diverse contributions women have made to Victoria and to share those stories with the broader community.

The program is open to organisations to apply for $50,000 to $200,000 (excl. GST) to support the commissioning or completion of permanent public art [2], such as statues, sculptures and installations. Successful organisations will be responsible for working with creative practitioners who are women to develop and realise the artworks.

Applications close 28 January 2022.

Regional Access Collections Program

The Regional Collections Access Program (RCAP) is a new program to enable equipment and infrastructure upgrades at galleries and museums. The Program will support collections care and storage and facilitate the loaning and touring of collections items from Local, State, National and International lending institutions in regional and Interface Local Government Areas (LGAs). The Program aims to enable more visitors to access more collections in more locations across Victoria.

Applications close 24 February 2022.

Cultural Tourism Accelerator Program

The Cultural Tourism Accelerator Program is a $5 million targeted measure announced by the Australian Government as part of the Regional Arts Tourism package, which will enable arts organisations to promote and develop cultural events for tourists across regional Australia.

Multiple funding rounds with applications closing in January and March 2022.
