Letters From My Heroes…If they actually bothered to write back

Stephen Hall shares some imagined advice from his heroes, by way of 27 celebrity impressions.

Touring as part of the 2024 Connecting Places Program

For years, Stephen Hall has been writing to his heroes, the stars of stage and screen, asking for advice. In a brand-new one-man show, he reveals how they all might have responded if they’d ever actually bothered to reply.

Audiences will recognise their own heroes (and perhaps some villains) as Stephen expertly brings them to life on stage. The show will provoke laughs, memories and has been known to prompt some sharing of favourite impressions from the audience after the show! This is a rollicking fabulous fun night out, which also digs a little deeper, as Stephen reveals some of the personal reasons behind his need for heroes and how he eventually recognised the true hero of his family and his life.

Fresh from Shaun Micallef’s ‘Mad As Hell’, the music theatre stages of Fawlty Towers Live and Monty Python’s Spamalot. Stephen debuted this show at the 2023 Melbourne International Comedy Festival. Letters From My Heroes is a hilarious, fast-paced tour de force that you won’t want to miss!
