Connecting Places launches 2023 Touring Program

Regional Arts Victoria is delighted to share with you our 2023 Connecting Places Touring Program!

This year we consulted with a panel of your peers to select a range of vibrant and affordable shows that embody the wonder and joy of performance as we look ahead to 2023 with a growing sense of optimism and positivity.

We’ve got Indigenous pop stars The Merindas, who will wow you with their infectious energy and soaring vocals, international musician Fred Smith, who will present Sparrows of Kabul, an extraordinary song cycle on Australia’s involvement in Afghanistan, and Lemony S Puppet Theatre, who return with their new children’s show, Crow Kid.

Keeping the good vibes going is illusionist and mentalist Cath Jamison, who will team up with comedy cabaret star Aurora Kurth to present a night of fun, magic and cabaret with their hit show Sass & Secrets, while the discovery of his mother’s 1946 diary takes crowd favourite Damian Callinan on a romantic romp through post-war Melbourne in the funny and poignant Double Feature.

In addition to the range of productions available for booking, Connecting Places provides exciting learning opportunities for community presenters including workshops, mentorships, one-on-one support, and other forms of professional development.

Feel free to get in touch with our Connecting Places Coordinator Nikki Ralston for more information. We look forward to working with you!
