Regional Arts Victoria is thrilled to present the 2020 Arts & Education Program, available to schools across the state. The program is designed to engage, educate and delight students from foundation to VCE through a range of creative approaches. With a selection of high quality, immersive arts experiences from the country’s leading arts companies and independent artists, our program is sure to suit any school setting. Our incursions can also be flexible to accommodate other venues where suitable.

Subsidies are available through Regional Arts Victoria for eligible schools in order to reduce barriers and provide access for students by offering significant financial assistance (up to 75%) off ticket prices and assistance with transport in some cases. Clustering schools together for bookings can further reduce costs in remote or disadvantaged areas.

Teacher resources are developed to complement each program and assist teachers in preparing for and extending the program after the incursion.

The Early Bird Special is also available to eligible schools and organisations who book three or more programs before 13 December 2019, with an additional 15% off your Arts & Education booking.

The 2020 program includes a Professional Development Program for Teachers by Arts Centre Melbourne. The Creative Curriculum is a unique program is designed to support teachers in all disciplines to build on skills development, enabling them to use performing arts practice in everyday classroom teaching and curriculum delivery. We will be bringing this opportunity to regional areas in Term Two 2020 and look forward to supporting teachers in the area of professional development. The program has been curated by our experienced programming team, in consultation with an expert panel including VCAA representatives, artists, educators and leaders in the sector. Regional Arts Victoria is a proud partner of the Victorian Department of Education and Training.
