Regional Arts Victoria inspires art across the state. We achieve this through the support of vital partnerships and networks.
Regional Arts Victoria works in short and long-term partnerships to present our programs. These partnerships are as essential to our organisational sustainability as they are to sustaining Victorian arts and culture:
Government partnerships support our core operations, continuing our strong track record of realising the key regional policy priorities of Arts Victoria, the Victorian Departments of Education, Health, Human Services, Planning & Community Development and Regional Development, and the Australian Government Office for the Arts. Partnerships include devolved artistic and funding programs, as well as our long-term local government partnerships supporting the work of our regional staff;
- Creative Partnerships to expand opportunities for regional artists to develop and present their work, as well as for arts organisations to reach regional artists and audiences;
- Philanthropic partnerships to create new work and support existing programs by demonstrating a shared commitment to the publicly avowed values of trusts and foundations;
- Corporate partnerships to expand the spheres of the significant corporates in our community into the arts, fostering mutually beneficial third-party advocacy, and offering valuable in-kind supplies of good and services.
We constantly seek to secure, deepen and extend our partnerships to build regional and remote Victorian arts capacity, as well as increasing the capacity of our partner organisations to inspire arts across the state.
