In 2012 we began regular weekly rehearsals with two adult community steelbands of Marysville and district and one Mums & kids band in Taggerty. Start of regular weekly rehearsals with two groups of children at the Buxton Primary School as part of the school curriculum. Appearance of the adult steelbands at numerous community events and music festivals in our local area, in regional Victoria and at Melbourne (some 30 gigs).

The inaugural Australian Steelband Festival took place in Marysville, 12-14 April 2013. We were responsible for fundraising, artistic concept, advertising & communication and on-ground logistics.
