We were waiting for a good time to tell you... ...and that time has FINALLY arrived. The Dog Theatre Inc has reformed, rebooted and is very proud to announce that we are now a Regional Victorian Theatre Company! On Gunaikurnai Land. Some of you may remember the heady, crazy and outrageous days of The Dog Theatre in Footscray when we received the Green Room Award and Melbourne Fringe Festival award for Best Venue and some may know The Dog from shows in Brunswick, either way, The Dog Theatre's new team have been hard at it, focussing all our energy on doing what The Dog does best - supporting performing artists and their community. We will be advocating for more home grown, professional performing arts project outcomes, real time actor training and pushing hard for inspirational performing arts experiences for the people of Gippsland. We have evolved, bringing our passion, skills and real-time support to the region of Gippsland. We want to make performing arts here in Gippsland and tour it to major cities, not the other way around!
