Jessica Lesosky
Jessica Lesosky is a dancer, facilitator, and movement-based artist based on Wadawurrung Country (Surf Coast, Victoria). Her practice sits at the intersection of performance, community, and care, exploring connections between body, environment, and belonging. She works across contemporary dance, improvisation, and dance/movement therapy, creating inclusive, process-driven spaces that support creativity, communication, and social engagement.
An experienced workshop facilitator, Jessica works with diverse communities, abilities, and ages, supporting physical, emotional, and social wellbeing through movement. She is co-founder of WRITHE, a platform for regional artists across the G21 region to connect, share practice, and build sustainable creative pathways. Her work is grounded in curiosity, joy, embodied listening, and collaboration, encouraging risk-taking and experimentation. She is currently developing Permission Granted with Sheshtin Honey, a multidisciplinary ,collaborative performance exploring pleasure, power, and the reclamation of the body through movement, sound, and voice.
