When communities come together, incredible things happen.
Thanks to the generosity of our donors and supporters, Regional Arts Victoria’s YEAH 2026: Creative Communities campaign raised almost $24,000 to help create more opportunities for people across regional Victoria to connect, create and thrive through the arts.
Every contribution, no matter its size, helps make meaningful creative experiences possible. It means more young people can experience the excitement of live performance in their own community. It means regional artists have more opportunities to share their work and be fairly paid for their creative practice. And it means local halls, schools and community venues can continue to be places where people come together to experience the power of arts and culture.
The funds raised will support Regional Arts Victoria to:
- bring performances and creative workshops to schools and communities across regional and remote Victoria
- support regional artists to deliver inspiring creative experiences
- provide mentoring and training for community presenters and volunteers
- strengthen small halls and community venues as welcoming cultural spaces
- commission new work by regional artists for young audiences.
For more than 70 years, Regional Arts Victoria has worked alongside artists and communities to ensure geography is never a barrier to experiencing great art. Every donation helps us continue that work—building stronger communities, nurturing creative careers and creating moments of joy, connection and belonging across the state.
While our YEAH 2026 campaign has now concluded, its impact is only just beginning. Over the coming months, these funds will help bring creative experiences to communities across regional Victoria, creating opportunities that simply wouldn’t be possible without the support of people who believe in the value of the arts.

Help us create even greater impact
If you’re inspired by the difference community support can make, we’re still open for donations and larger philanthropic gifts can help RAV deliver transformational creative experiences across regional Victoria. For example:
- $12,000 can support a tour to six schools, bringing high-quality arts experiences directly to students.
- $15,000 can commission a new work by a regional artist, created especially for presentation in a small regional hall or community venue.
