We’re excited to welcome the first creative projects to Gallery Commons via an online expression of interest (EOI) process.

Gallery Commons is a flexible, street-front gallery space at Market Square Geelong on Malop Street, created to help local creatives to share their work with the public.

Whether you’re an artist, designer, maker, photographer, student, creative collective or community group, Gallery Commons provides an affordable and accessible place to exhibit, test new ideas, connect with audiences and sell work directly.

With large street-facing windows and a central location, it’s a space where creativity can be seen, experienced and celebrated.

Applicants can apply for:

• Full-space hire
• Half-space hire
• Shared exhibitions with another artist, collective or group

The space is suitable for a wide range of creative projects, including:

• Visual art exhibitions
• Design showcases
• Community projects
• Student and emerging artist exhibitions
• Installation works
• Projection-based works (subject to technical and safety assessment)
