Campaspe Artists in Residence (CAIR) invites artists from all disciplines and career stages to immerse themselves in the landscapes, stories and communities of Campaspe Shire. With residency fees, professional support and connections to local partners, artists are encouraged to explore, research, create and connect through place-based creative practice. A dedicated residency opportunity is available for a First Nations artist.

Location: Campaspe Shire, Victoria
Eligibility: Artists of all disciplines and career stages
Opportunity: Paid Artist Residency ($3,000-$5,000)

Key dates:
Thursday, 24 September 2026: Expression of Interest process opens;
Friday, 30 October 2026: Expression of Interest process closes;
November-December 2026: Assessment and artist selection;
February 2027 – November 2027: Residencies delivered across Campaspe Shire.
