Deanne Howlett

Deanne is an Australian artist/designer, working from her studio in East Gippsland, Victoria.

Her sensory-informed jewellery has been hand-formed, capturing the impressions of the maker’s hands, creating a tactile undulating surface.

A key feature of Deanne’s “Marine Debris” collection of jewellery, is the use of plastic marine debris found along the shores of local waterways within the pieces. Deanne also creates small sculptures using these same materials.

Marine debris is the focus of Deanne’s upcoming exhibition “One Drop” at East Gippsland Art Gallery, opening on Friday 23rd October.

Deanne’s work is available through select galleries and collectives.
