The Belair Lip Bombs are set to heat up a winter’s night in Anglesea at a special Sound Doctor show on Friday 14 August.

Hailing from Frankston, on the other side of the bay, The Belair Lip Bombs are four friends who craft heartfelt and hook-laden indie rock songs connected by their bond and friendship. Since they first formed eight years ago the band have been building a loyal local following – and since catching the eye of Jack White and signing to his label Third Man Records for their 2025 album Again (the first Australian release on the international label) they are growing in popularity overseas as well.

The Belair Lip Bombs pull you in immediately with their self-coined “yearn-core” combination of quick-footed rhythms, warm and fuzzy guitar melodies and lead singer Maisie’s cathartic vocals. It’s a sound we know The Sound Doctor audiences are going to love!

Supporting them on the night are Melbourne based NoTurns. Fresh off a rapid start to the year supporting Romy Vager (RVG), Stimpies, Bean Magazine, and more, NoTurns is a force to be reckoned with on the local circuit. Known for their emphatic live performances which meld Rock and Roll with dynamic, vintage and vulnerable Folk songwriting.
