Many Hands, One Print is an exciting collaborative printmaking workshop, where creativity, skills development, and teamwork come together to create an impressive large-scale artwork. Students will design and carve their own 12 x 12 cm linocut print, contributing their unique piece to a larger themed image.
Through this hands-on workshop, students learn the fundamentals of printmaking, including developing images for print, transferring designs onto Lino, safe tool handling, mark-making techniques, inking and rolling a block, and printing with a portable press. Along the way, they build confidence in creative problem-solving and visual communication while exploring their own artistic ideas.
Suitable as a half-day session, this engaging experience demonstrates how individual contributions can combine to create something much greater than the sum of its parts. Finished designs can also inspire prints for T-shirts, tote bags, posters, cards, and other creative products.
