Creative experience available on demand as part of the 2027 Creative Learning Program
The Arts – Visual Art | Critical and Creative Thinking | VCE Art Making and Exhibiting and VCE Art Creative Practice Study Designs
The annual Top Arts exhibition at the National Gallery of Victoria provides a unique insight into the creativity, skill and imagination of young creatives. This program presented by an NGV educator will provide participating students with:
- an introduction to Top Arts 2027
- insights into the creative processes explored by selected exhibitors – from developing ideas through to exhibiting final pieces
- opportunities to examine the exemplary folios of selected exhibitors
- a behind-the-scenes look at the experience of VCE artmaking through pre-recorded interviews with exhibitors
To connect these ideas with students’ own artmaking journeys, the workshop will include fun and creative activities inspired by exhibitor experiences, giving participating students the chance to explore new possibilities and develop concepts for their own creative practice.
Workshop content can be tailored to the level and curriculum focus of participating students.
Top Arts is part of the VCE Season of Excellence presented by the Victorian Curriculum Assessment Authority.
