Join artist Megan J Riedl for a creative writing workshop exploring the theme of Home.

Through guided writing exercises, you’ll explore your own memories, experiences and ideas while learning creative writing techniques to develop them into a poem or story.

*No writing experience is needed. Everyone has a story to share.*

Choose from three workshops across the Surf Coast Shire:

*Deans Marsh*
Sunday 4 October, 1pm to 3.30pm
Deans Marsh Community Hall & Cottage

*Winchelsea*
Sunday 11 October, 11am to 1.30pm
Winchelsea Shire Hall

*Torquay*
Saturday 17 October, 11am to 1.30pm
Torquay Neighbourhood Centre

The workshops are part of ‘Voices from Home’, a community storytelling project bringing together stories and experiences from people across the Surf Coast Shire.

You’ll have the option to contribute writing developed during the workshop to the project. Community contributions will help inspire new creative work, culminating in a live performance in the Surf Coast Shire in November 2026.
