Circus: Move, Play, Connect

A playful circus workshop supporting students to develop their physical skills and confidence through creativity and collaboration

By Asking For Trouble

Creative experience available on demand as part of the 2027 Creative Learning Program

The Arts – Drama | Health and Physical Education | Critical and Creative Thinking | Personal and Social Capability

An interactive circus workshop that invites children and young people to explore movement, mastery and collaboration through circus skills.

Led by experienced artists from Asking for Trouble, participants learn skills such as juggling, hula hoop, balance and partner acrobatics through games, guided exploration and playful challenges.

The workshop combines physical warm-ups, skill development and activities that require communication and collaboration. Participants are supported to take safe risks, building confidence and resilience while working individually, in pairs and as a group.

Designed to be adaptable for a range of ages and abilities, the workshop values process over performance, creating a welcoming environment where every participant can experience success, develop new skills and redefine what they’re capable of.

“Christy and Luke were a joy to work with. They quickly established a wonderful rapport with the students and were consequently able to elicit an amazing performance as an end result. Perhaps more importantly the team work skills and trust that was established amongst the group during the workshops has improved the student’s self esteem and general confidence. I would highly recommend their workshops and would be thrilled to work with them both again in the future.” – Fiona S, Teacher
