Gippsland Writers Network Winter Short Story Competition

We’re looking for flash fiction up to 200 words on the theme of ‘ice’.

Send us your spec fic, horror, fantasy, literary, historical, or uncategorised words! Use your imagination, twist it up, make us stop and take a breath.

Entries must be fiction and address the theme of ‘ice’. Entries must be no longer than 200 words.

The competition closes 5pm Monday 31 August 2026.
