Exhibit at the Phee Broadway Theatre Foyer
Apply to exhibit at the Phee Broadway Theatre Foyer in Castlemaine
Mount Alexander Shire Council is calling for expressions of interest to exhibit artwork in the Phee Broadway Theatre Foyer in Castlemaine.
The program will run from July 2026 through to June 2027, exhibiting the work of local artists, group shows and community organisations.
The Phee Broadway Theatre is located on Mechanics Lane in Castlemaine, and is a community gathering place where creativity is fostered, people connect and shared narratives are explored.
This program is designed to build artists skills in developing exhibitions. It provides opportunities for locally connected emerging artists, curators and artist groups to display a small art exhibition in a prominent venue without paying hire fees, and with access to support and advice from Council officers.
We welcome applications from exhibitors who can demonstrate a committed arts practice, and who seek to explore a concept that is relevant to the community. The Phee Broadway Theatre Foyer is only suited to two-dimensional work.
Expressions of interest close on Monday 25 May 2026, with the first exhibition set to open in July.
