Surf Coast Shire are seeking applications from young creatives (12-25 years old) to be part of the 2026 Youth Art Exhibition.

Held at Anglesea Art Space, this exhibition celebrates the creativity, ideas and voices of young people across the Surf Coast Shire.

The exhibition will run from Thursday 6 August to Sunday 23 August 2026.

The 2026 exhibition theme is ‘Motivation’, encouraging young creatives to reflect on what drives, inspires and challenges them. This could include the people, passions and experiences that motivate you to create, keep going through difficult moments, express yourself creatively, or pursue art as a lifelong passion.

Participation in the exhibition is free and open to all young creatives, offering the opportunity to showcase work at Anglesea Art Space, gain experience exhibiting in a public gallery setting, and be eligible for exhibition prizes and awards.

Applications open: Monday 8 June 2026
Applications close: Sunday 19 July 2026
