Surf Coast Shire Council is inviting local artists to enter the 2026 Community Art Prize.

Open to artists from across the Surf Coast Shire, the prize provides an opportunity to exhibit an original artwork at Anglesea Art Space from 8 to 25 October 2026 and be considered for a range of awards.

The overall Community Art Prize winner will receive $1,500, with additional awards for an Emerging Artist, First Nations Creative and People’s Choice.

Entry is free and artists at all stages of their creative practice are encouraged to apply.

Applications close Monday 28 September 2026.
