Vidi

I am a multidisciplinary artist based in a remote coastal town in Victoria, where I have lived and worked for the past three years. My practice spans ceramics, jewellery, textiles and 3D-printed forms, often combining precious and non-precious materials to explore contrast, value and perception.

Working in a geographically isolated environment has encouraged a deeply self-directed and exploratory approach. My ceramic works are often shaped by local textures and impressions, while my jewellery practice draws on both traditional silversmithing techniques and contemporary processes, including laser cutting and digital fabrication.
Prior to this, I worked in film production across the health and education sectors, developing strong skills in storytelling, collaboration and project delivery. I am formally trained as a silversmith and product designer, and these foundations continue to inform my material understanding and attention to detail.

My current practice is driven by curiosity and a commitment to making as a way of thinking. I am particularly interested in objects as carriers of meaning—how they can hold narrative, evoke place, and invite personal connection. Living and working in a remote context has reinforced the importance of resourcefulness, experimentation and community, all of which are central to my evolving practice.

I sell a selection of my work in the Mallacoota Art Space gallery and I sell jewellery online.
