Clayton Tremlett

Clayton Tremlett’s work examines Australian history and culture, following sustained periods of research. Since 2012, he has exhibited predominantly in public and regional galleries across Victoria. He is renowned for his linocut portraiture; however, he also works with etching and screen prints to produce wallpapers, artist’s books, installations and editioned prints.

He provides talks, demonstrations and workshops for regional galleries, schools and art collectives under the banner of Pop-Up Printmaking.

His prints are held in significant collections. They include, the National Gallery of Australia, Art Gallery of Ballarat, Bendigo Art Gallery, Castlemaine Art Museum, Geelong Gallery, Mornington Peninsula Regional Gallery, Wangaratta Art Gallery, Warrnambool Art Gallery and State Library of Victoria.
