Repercussion – An Art Exhibition of a Percussive Nature

Instrument maker and artist Nick Carpenter makes artworks around a musical theme. His latest exhibition focuses on the world of percussion instruments, the beating heart of music! The beauty in form and function is prevalent in this collection of works with amazing steam bent timber sculptures incorporating percussion instruments, symbolic cymbals, and even a xylophone chair!

The Exhibition runs from 21st to 29th January 10am to 5pm daily at Wildwood Instruments Art Gallery, 11 Phillips Road Mount Franklin, Victoria, just 8 minutes out of Daylesford.

Opening Night is Saturday 21st January from 5pm, and everyone is welcome to attend.

Oz Day BBQ from 12 noon Thursday 26th January. This public holiday will be a great chance to pop out to the exhibition, check out the art and grab a free sausage sizzle.
