For eight centuries, Rumi’s verses have moved hearts across cultures and continents. Now, Iranian-Australian Qanun player Vahideh breathes new life into his immortal poetry – weaving it together with the haunting textures of Persian classical music in an intimate, transcendent performance. 
 
Inspired by Rumi’s boundless wisdom, Vahideh crafts original musical responses to his most beloved verses, fusing her dual Iranian and Australian heritage into something entirely her own. Joined by cellist Zoë Barry and multi-instrumentalist Kelly Dowall on ney, clarinet, and drum, the trio become storytellers — channelling ancient words through living sound.
