“My work is most often an interpretation of personal experience and observation. This collection is part of a body of work that reveals a fascination with the moon.

The moon and its many variations inhabits the sky I live under, on a hill above a town with a view east, north and west. I see the moon and its many phases rising, setting and anything in between.

It has often caught my attention by surprise, its beauty and wonder a constant. Its presence is a personal metaphor for time passing, movement, change as well as stability and predictability” – Janet Howard
