CREATE. COLLABORATE. PERFORM.
What happens when a group of young performers come together and are given the opportunity to create their own show? That is the DRAMAFEST South West Camp.

Over four days, participants will work as an ensemble to develop an original theatrical performance from the ground up. Through drama exercises, improvisation, imagination, character development, writing, movement, storytelling and theatre-making, the young performers will contribute ideas and shape the work they ultimately perform.

The process will be participant-driven and collaborative, with professional guidance, direction and mentorship from award-winning performing artist Jennifer Monk. And at the end of the four days, the DRAMAFEST 2026 Ensemble will take to the stage and perform their creation for a live audience.

SCHOLARSHIP OPPORTUNITY
Thanks to the generous support of the Fletcher Jones Foundation Trust, there are 2 fully funded scholarship places available for the DRAMAFEST South West Camp.

Scholarships are available by application.
