Cabaret | Comedy
Where history meets hilarity, and you hold the remote control to time itself.
Welcome to an evening where you control the clock. Every night, the audience decides the destination as we travel through time. Will you find yourself in Ancient Rome, the Roaring Twenties, Marie Antoinette’s court, a philosophical debate in Ancient Greece, or a futuristic world ruled by robot overlords? You choose the era, and we create the magic live before your eyes.
Starring award-nominated musical improviser, comedian and cabaret artist Isabella Valette (Green Room Award nominee Best Ensemble 2023, Best Cabaret nominee Melbourne Fringe 2023), this fully improvised show blends storytelling, comedy and live music into one unforgettable theatrical event.
Each night is entirely unique. Talented musicians and performers build songs, characters and entire narratives from scratch, based on audience suggestions. You’ll witness original lyrics, clever melodies, surprising twists and spontaneous theatrical moments all created in real time. With sharp wit, lightning-fast thinking and a charming rapport with the crowd, Isabella and her team craft a one-of-a-kind journey through history that is both hilarious and heartfelt.
Inspired by the glamour of vintage cabaret and the playfulness of modern improvisation, Cabaret Time Machine delivers a slick, surprising and immersive experience that invites audiences to become co-creators of the show.
Perfect for festivals, regional touring and intimate venues, this highly adaptable production has minimal tech requirements and wide audience appeal. Every show is a new world premiere, filled with laughter, music and connection.
Cabaret Time Machine celebrates the thrill of live performance and the magic that happens when artists and audiences build something unforgettable together.
