Karen Turner is the award-winning author of the Torn trilogy and a long-standing friend of Ballarat Writers. Her workshop draws on her experience in writing to tight deadlines, finding joy in creativity and setting up the all-important daily routines a writer needs to complete their novel successfully.

Established in 1989, Ballarat Writers is a grass-roots organisation promoting local writing and writers in the Western Victorian region.
