Your Artistic Development

Regional Arts Victoria exists to facilitate your artistic development. We connect our members and communities with leading creative experts, professional development opportunities, and networking opportunities.

We do this in a number of ways:

Our Creative Arts Facilitators, based in pivotal regional locations across the state, work closely with artists, communities and local government. This specialised team facilitate new work, keep their communities informed of key arts opportunities and development, as well as supporting arts policy development.

  • We offer funding opportunities on behalf of Arts Victoria and the Australian Government

  • Our Regional Cultural Network sessions share strategies, ideas and programs, as well as providing professional development for regional and remote Victorian arts workers and artists.

  • We champion the work of our Members across our networks and partnerships, as well as through our website and social media

  • We offer a range of professional development opportunities, touring opportunities and access to quality performances and workshops via our Education & Families touring program and Performing Arts Touring program

  • Our State-Wide place-making projects such as Home is Where the Hall is and Small Town Transformations provide the opportunity for artists and communities to be involved in transforming familiar spaces into places for art.
