Three Birds One Cock by Three Birds Theatre

Three Birds Theatre swoops into town with their hilarious and dazzling three-woman show Three Birds One Cock, coming to an Australian town near you! Perfect for local spaces and historic town halls, for old and new audiences alike. Whether you're a diehard Hitchcock cinema fan or someone who simply loves a night out packed full of thrill and suspense at the theatre, see how your town’s spaces are transformed into a shadowy, noir 1950s America with plenty of physical comedy, slick costumes, an original musical score and a sharp, witty script.

As Alfred Hitchcock and his films are iconic and influential points in pop culture and film history, Three Birds One Cock is a show that takes his famous heroines and gives them stories of their own, with a contemporary punch and a dose of dark-humoured comedy.

A bit about the show!
Three of Alfred Hitchcock’s iconic blondes from Vertigo, Psycho and The Birds find themselves trapped in an absurd “whodunnit” murder mystery. Something sinister is lurking in the shadows and things are not quite what they seem.

Terrified that any one of them could be the next victim, these blondes must use their feminine charm and cunning skills to unravel a storyline much darker than they realize, tumbling towards morbid endings of their own.

Footsteps! Gunshots! Lingerie! Deception! Will all go to plan for these strong-willed bombshells?

A black comedy dripping with noir, glamour, murder and suspense.
