Stack Up with Circus Oz

It takes all sorts to make a circus: big, small, strong, funny, careful, quick, clever.

The show offs are important but so are the spotters. It takes bravery, sure! But most of all, to work as a team you need to respect your mates.

Circus Oz are world famous for their circus skills, larrikin humour and commitment to social justice and a good time for all.

In this accessible circus workshop, primary and secondary-aged students are challenged to step outside their comfort zone in a safe and supportive environment.  Students participate in a range of fundamental circus skills with trainers drawing on Resilience, Rights and Respectful Relationships learning materials to introduce and coach the circus skills.

Workshops begin with a physical warm up and group games then explore acro-balance and manipulation skills, such as diabolo, juggling, hula hoops and plate spinning.
