Live Light Painting by Little Projector Company

Live interactive animated painting is the newest form of collaborative visual arts practice and an exciting and dynamic new mode of storytelling.Student's iPads are transformed into live instruments for spontaneous visual expression; paint with lights or tell improvised stories.
Multiple painters collaborate by painting onto the same projection at the same time, and then animate their paintings live.

Artists performance: Our established artists and workshop leaders perform a stunning act of live animation in response to the audiences locality, curriculum, or identified thematic.

Workshop: Students learn how to create interactive animated paintings and how to use sound and music to interact with the paintings. These are fun experimental workshops that allow for improvisation and the immediate realisation of ideas through live animation and experimental sound design.

Students performance: The works created in the workshops are performed for other students and maybe even the local community! The performance may take a number of forms:
• A seated indoor performance combining sound with live interactive animated painting. Imagine a school orchestra creating a score to a giant light show exploring local mythology.
• Static outdoor large-scale projection. Utilising a local silo, building, bridge, or the school building. These are public performance celebrating community
