Small Towns Transformations

Regional Arts Victoria presents Small Town Transformations on behalf of the Victorian Government.

We’re funding transformative artistic projects that are connected to community and place, for and by small Victorian towns with fewer than 1,500 people.

Following an intensive application and shortlisting process, Regional Arts Victoria is thrilled to congratulate the five successful Small Town Transformations towns, who will each receive $350,000 for a significant artistic project with lasting legacy.

Minister for the Arts Heidi Victoria announced the successful towns at the Regional Arts Victoria Members’ Celebration on Saturday 25 May.

The Five Small Town Transformations are:

  • The Chinese Garden - Avoca
  • The Quarry Ephitheatre - Dookie
  • The Verj - Natimuk
  • Neerim Bower: Inspired by Birds - Neerim South
  • Mallee Up In Lights  - Ouyen
