Regional Arts Victoria, on behalf of Yarra Ranges, Wellington, Glenelg, Moyne and Warrnambool Shires, is offering a travel grant to assist residents in those communities with registration, as well as other associated travel costs, to attend Artlands Victoria.

The cost of Early Bird registration for individuals is $660 (inclusive of GST). The total travel grant offered is $1,000 to be allocated towards the cost of registration, travel and/or accommodation. If successful you will be sent a link to register for a full conference ticket at the Early Bird price. 

Your registration is for the full 4 day conference program and includes morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea (including tea and coffee) from the formal opening at 2.00pm Wednesday 10 October until the closing celebration on the evening of Saturday 13 October. 

Applications open at 9am on Monday 18 June

Applications close at 5.00pm on Friday 13 July

We will advise all applicants of the outcome in enough time for you to make travel and accommodation arrangements. 

Eligibility and selection process

This funding is only available to applicants residing in the Yarra Ranges, Wellington, Glenelg and Moyne Shires.

The selection process will reflect priorities such as inclusion of Indigenous and young practitioners; ensuring cultural and geographic diversity; supporting those who lack the financial means to attend; supporting the attendance of confirmed presenters; and the professional impact of attendance for the applicant.

Please note that all government workers are ineligible to apply for this grant.

The travel grant will be valued at $1,000 to be allocated towards the cost of registration, travel and/or accommodation. The total pool of funds is limited.

Successful applicants

  • Will be notified on Monday 23 July by email
  • Will need to send Regional Arts Victoria an invoice by Friday 27 July for payment of the approved grant amount
  • Will receive funds within ten working days of receipt of invoice
  • Will receive a link to book their full conference ticket at the early bird price of $660 on receipt of an invoice
  • Will need to register for the conference using the link provided by Friday 17 August
  • Will need to submit an acquittal report by Friday 23 November
