Long Paddock
Long Paddock is a forum that brings together presenters, producers, state touring coordinators and other stakeholders to discuss productions for national touring.
At the Long Paddock forums, producers are invited to "pitch" potential touring productions to a delegation of presenters.
Long Paddock forums are held biannually, each one prior to a Playing Australia funding round. Usually, the forums are held in early April and early September. Long Paddock is run by the Blue Heeler Network. For contact details for your state representative please go to Cyberpaddock.

Funding for National Tours
Regional Arts Victoria (RAV) is not a funding body. It is a not-for-profit arts organisation which administers funding on behalf of Government agencies for the benefit of regional communities.
RAV submits applications to Playing Australia (Federal Government) for financial support of the National tours it intends to manage.
Financial Security
Presenters who bring an incoming performance by a professional artist or company can apply for a Grantee Against Loss (GAL). The Guarantee Against Loss (GAL) is a program to promote new performances in regional Victoria by offering financial security to venues to present professional performing arts productions.
GAL1 supports single presentations of professional inbound shows where the artist is new to the community and is performing original work.
For more information or to apply for GAL 1 click here.
GAL2 is managed directly by Arts Victoria and is open to performing arts venues and volunteer presenters for itinerised touring shows.
For more information or to apply for GAL 2, visit the Arts Victoria website.
