Community Presenter Mentorship

Build on your career performance and professional networks through Regional Arts Victoria’s mentoring program.

Regional Arts Victoria offered five Community Presenters a 12 month mentorship to help further their presenting practice. The mentorship matches experienced presenters and other professionals with upcoming community presenters wanting to build a sustainable presenting practice in 2019.

Applicants were welcome to name a specific mentor, or Regional Arts Victoria can source a suitable mentor based on the applicants desired skills development area

Applicants were encouraged to use this process to undergo some strategic planning with your committee, and looked at how a mentorship will assist in getting them there. The applications demonstrated long-term aims for their committee, and why presenting live performances in their community will help them achieve this.

Some examples of areas applicants may want a mentorship in are audience development planning, marketing, technical understanding, social media expertise etc. Please note, eventual applications should reflect specific needs, and do not need to fall into the above categories.

Applications are closed for 2019.

We encourage you to download these forms to get an idea of what we asked presenters for and how you may benefit from a mentorship in 2020.
