Share your pocket money so kids can experience art!

Regional Arts Victoria is raising funds throughout May and June to help disadvantaged regional school students experience high quality art.

For every $5 donated, a Victorian student who wouldn’t otherwise have the opportunity will be able to access Regional Arts Victoria's Education & Families Program.

$20 means four students from Murrayville will see Iago by Western Edge Youth Arts. $50 guarantees 10 students from Aitken Creek the opportunity to build helicopters with Furals HQ. $100 gets 20 kids learning the Way of the Samurai in Manangatang.

This way, all young people can experience art – not just those who can afford it.

Subsidies of up to 50% are also available to Victorian schools that are deemed to be disadvantaged by means of socio-economic circumstances, remoteness from Melbourne, high numbers of students for whom English is not their first language, culturally diverse schools, and schools affected by bushfire or other disaster.

Share Your Pocket Money will launch Monday 2 May 2016.

Regional Arts Victoria’s Education & Families Program takes high quality, educationally-relevant artistic programming to schools across Victoria.
