Welcome to a world of play.
Journey into Play will be presenting “An evening with Kelly Boucher” this month.
This is a valuable opportunity to learn directly from Kelly, who will share her knowledge and expertise in a hands-on professional development session. Kelly will cover several topics including contemporary teaching practice, the use of new and existing materials to engage children in innovative ways, and how these materials can be used in early childhood settings to explore “becoming, belonging and place.”
Kelly has a breadth of experience across the arts and education sectors, including currently working as a lecturer in Early Childhood/Primary Education at Victoria University, and as the coordinator of Eco-Cubby, an initiative by Regional Arts Victoria and the City of Melbourne that raises awareness of sustainability through design thinking for young minds.
An evening with Kelly Boucher is $65.00 per person, and will be held at the Northcote Library, 32-38 Separation Street Northcote on Wednesday 27 May from 6.30pm – 8.30pm. For bookings email email@example.com
Journey into Play aims to provide professional development experiences for educators and early childhood workers to create environments that are “truly child focused, offering a variety of play experiences that utilise open ended natural materials.”
