Greg Mallyon is an established artist whose work captures the lines and textures of terrain as seen from above.

Brisbane born Greg, spent school holidays in outback Queensland where his love of the Australian landscape was founded.

These days, Greg works from his studio in Daylesford, having now exhibited for over 25 years throughout Australia, as well as in Europe, Asia and USA.  He is both a painter and a printmaker: he was selected as Post Graduate Artist in Residence at Venice's Scuola Internazionale di Grafica (2013), where he worked for a month creating mono-prints and etchings based on sketches drawn on his flight from Australia and a stopover in Dubai.  He created a new suite of eight etchings which was editioned by Italian printmakers from the school . This Flight path to Venice suite includes impressions of The Persian Gulf, The Black Sea and Turkey.
